Our mission is to build brands people believe in by delivering elevated experiences in all we do. Through uncompromising quality, purposeful innovation, and trusted partnerships, we create products and relationships that enrich lives and help shape the future of cannabis. The Logistics Specialist plays a key role in the supply chain team, managing daily inbound and outbound logistics for cannabis shipments across Canada and international markets. This includes coordinating provincial board deliveries, 3PL scheduling, co-packer transfers, and ensuring all shipping and compliance documentation is accurate and complete. The role works closely with Planning, Procurement, Packaging, Sales, Finance, and Quality teams to support smooth product flow while controlling logistics costs. Success is measured through strong on-time delivery performance, reduced cost per pallet and case, consistent 3PL adherence to SLAs, minimal order and documentation errors, and timely, accurate month-end shipment reconciliations. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of transportation and logistics processes, hands-on experience with end-to-end logistics operations, and a clear, precise communication style. They are curious, adaptable, accountable, and solution-oriented, with strong time-management skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience evaluating logistics scenarios considered an asset. This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is based out of our Delta location. Responsibilities Manage outbound and inbound logistics operations, coordinating with external stakeholders (Provincial Boards, third-party logistics providers, co-packers, and carriers) and internal teams (Finance, Sales, Planning, Production, Processing, and Quality). Own sales order entry and delivery execution, including booking delivery appointments with Provincial Boards and customers, managing freight with 3PL partners, and ensuring all shipping documentation meets customer and regulatory requirements. Act as the logistics subject matter expert (SME) for the implementation of new logistics systems, process improvements, and new product launches, working cross-functionally to enhance operational efficiency. Lead daily logistics and distribution activities, including the shipment of regulated cannabis products across Canada, and oversee the preparation of all mandatory shipping and compliance documentation, including import/export permits when applicable. Track, analyze, and report logistics KPIs such as transportation costs, cost per pallet, shipment volumes, modes of transportation, and other metrics as defined by the Supply Chain Manager. Manage and optimize relationships with third-party logistics providers, couriers, and freight carriers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and identifying opportunities for cost reduction through route and mode optimization. Partner with Finance to reconcile monthly shipment activity, review and approve logistics invoices, and resolve billing or operational discrepancies. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve real-time logistics issues, including shipment delays, inventory constraints, and 3PL performance challenges. Collaborate closely with Planning, Procurement, Packaging, and Sales teams to align logistics execution with overall business and supply chain objectives. Coordinate inbound logistics for returned products, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and stock transfer orders. Monitor and track shipments end-to-end, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and resolving delivery issues or delays as they arise. Define, monitor, and manage 3PL KPIs related to delivery performance, accuracy, and compliance (e.g., packing slips, pallet tags, late deliveries, incorrect shipments, missed pickups), and conduct regular performance reviews with internal and external partners. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager. Knowledge & Experience Certificate or diploma in Operations or a related field. 2–4 years of experience working in logistics, distribution, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
