New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer (React) to join our growing development team. This role will contribute to building immersive, data-driven web applications that enable innovative business decision-making. The Senior Frontend Developer will bring responsive, scalable, and engaging user experiences to life and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers in a hybrid model, blending remote flexibility with in-person collaboration.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.Stay current with frontend development trends and emerging technologies.Debug and troubleshoot application issues across different environments.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in frontend development.Strong proficiency in React, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.Experience with rapid UI development with consistent design system tailwind CSS.Familiarity with version control systems (Git).Knowledge of RESTful API integration.Experience with CSS frameworks/preprocessors (Sass, Styled Components, or similar).Experience with TypeScript , Docker and Terraform.Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Context API).Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).Experience with Next.js or other React frameworks.Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.Experience with CI/CD pipelines.If you have this expertise, and are able to work in Canada, please submit your resume.
