About The Role Hi, I'm Yan, Head of Engineering at Loop, and I'm hiring a Senior Frontend Developer to build the interfaces where businesses manage their money across borders. In this role, you'll design UI that handles real complexity—multi-currency balances, pending transactions, FX rates that shift—while making it feel simple. This is an onsite position at our downtown Toronto office (Adelaide and Spadina). What You'll Be Doing Build end-to-end features in Next.js Design UI that makes financial complexity feel simple Work directly with product and customers to understand problems Make trade‑off decisions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints Own features from requirements through production Write tests, set up monitoring, and care about what happens at 2 am What We're Looking For 5‑8 years building production software Strong React and TypeScript skills Product mindset – you think about the user's problem, not just the ticket Understanding that in fintech, precision and trust matter Ability to work directly with stakeholders and make informed decisions Bonus: Financial services experience, deep accessibility knowledge, opinions about how AI changes frontend development.
