Senior Frontend Developer – Micro Frontend Platform

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to lead the architecture and evolution of our micro frontend platform for The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building modern frontend applications at scale and a strong background in micro frontend architectures. You will define standards, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and performant user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and development of the micro frontend platform, enabling domain-based feature teams to deliver independently.
  • Define standards for shell app coordination, shared libraries, routing, and runtime integrations.
  • Design and implement shared state management, version control, and safe rollout mechanisms for micro frontends.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to senior frontend engineers.
  • Collaborate with Platform teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines and observability.
  • Work with Product, Design, and Content teams to maintain a consistent user experience.
  • Represent frontend technical leadership across cross-functional projects.
  • Navigate trade-offs between centralized control and team autonomy.

Qualifications:

  • 8–10 years of experience building modern frontend applications at scale.
  • Deep expertise with React frameworks such as and Remix, and micro frontend tooling.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization, security, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Experience with distributed monorepo or federated repo setups.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good to have: familiarity with Turboprop, backend-for-frontend (BFF) layers, GraphQL APIs, edge functions, and contributions to platform-level SDKs or component frameworks.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $55.00 per hour
