Operating from our 19 offices, 2400 Murexians from over 60 different nationalities ensure the development, implementation and support of our platform which is used by banks, asset managers, corporations, and utilities, across the world.Join Murex and work on the challenges of an industry at the forefront of innovation and thrive in a people-centric environment.You’ll be part of one global team where you can learn fast and stay true to yourself.The team :The operations domain team aims to deliver the expertise which helps Murex customers in the region, providing a range of services, including support, training, evolution of the platform, and the implementation of new modules.The modules and processes in the scope of the Operations domain team relate to the back-office activities of our clients, such as transaction lifecycle, legal documentation (SWIFT, paper format), settlement, and collateral management, among others.What you’ll do :As a junior operations technical analyst in the Murex Toronto office Operations team, you will work closely with our clients which are major banks, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies, corporate and other players in the capital markets. Your responsibilities will include:Advising on Murex best practices in the organizational modelling in MX.3, transaction lifecycle management, confirmation and matching of transactions, settlements, and position managementContributing to client-site MX.3 implementations during the requirements gathering, design, build, test and deployment phases by participating in workshops, preparing documentation, configuring client requirements and performing quality assurance tests.Providing client support including managing open issues and supporting upgrade activitiesCommunicating development needs to the Murex product development teamProviding internal and external trainingIn addition to the above, you may also participate as a functional expert in the sales process.Who you are :Recent graduate or 1 to 3 years of experience in the technology or banking industryStrong academic background in business, finance, engineering or technologyKnowledge of Unix/Linux operating system, SQL, and basic programming is a plusFamiliarity with the trade lifecycle of financial productsFluent written & oral English is necessary; fluency in another language is a plusAttributes:Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.Ability to identify trends and recommend a course of action to resolve/improve/enhance usage of our solutionManagement of complex client relationshipsAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to listen to client requirements, seek to understand their business, and translate them into an application and operational requirementsIs self-motivated and a team playerHas a strong interest in financial marketsAbility to travelWhy should you join us:Join a global market leader with a strong people-first focusBe part of a diverse and inclusive teamWork in an agile environment where you can collaborate with global teams from various expertiseOpportunity to travel the worldAbout the companyTransform IT infrastructure, meet regulatory requirements and manage risk with Murex capital markets technology solutions.NoticeTalentify is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
