General Accountabilities Assist in the conduct of operations research, technical/economic/environmental, business, and regulatory impact assessments to determine transmission and distribution customerয়ামী احتياجات النظام. Develop outage staging plans and incorporate input from project site meetings. Analyze problems and develop strategies, alternatives, and preferred solutions; assist in delivering solutions through suppliers and service providers. Receive assignments from the supervisor in broad terms on specific problems related to assigned area of work. Research available resourcesuggested contacts and produce effective recommendations. Prepare comprehensive reports and specifications; present solutions and produce documentation as necessary. Assist in developing, defining, and preparing programs, processes, standards, procedures, and methods related to management of or replacement of transmission/distribution assets. Travel to project sites to attend meetings, perform inspections, and assist project teams. Assist in preparing work specifications and provide necessary technical direction to service providers. Coordinate activities with service providers and stakeholders. Monitor, control, and redirect programs and projects. Resolve issues through negotiation with service providers, stakeholders, and customers. Prepare management reports. Work with service providers to ensure capabilities for required work and evaluate contracting processes for continuous improvement. Liaise with other internal work groups, divisions, and external industry groups. Maintain awareness ofuation developments related to transmission/distribution assets. Selection Criteria Four‑year university education in electrical engineering or an appropriate field. Knowledge of transmission and distribution systems and assets. Experience in: transmission/distribution systems, AutoCAD and design software, critical thinking, Utility Work Protection Code, customer focus, spreadsheets/databases, schedule and presentation preparation. Up to four years of experience may be necessary to acquire this skill set. Strong customer orientation and sensitivity to bottom‑line results. Professional oral and written communication skills. Problem‑solving skills that involve analysis of multiple variables and alternative solutions, exercising sound judgment. Self‑motivated behavior and perseverance to accomplish objectives. Ability to coordinate work and function effectively in a team environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Essential Competencies Quick learning of new tasks and information and ability to apply knowledge to varied situations. Understanding of business implications of decisions and desire to improve organizational performance. Flexibility and adaptability to changes in work. Creative problem‑solving and outside‑the‑box thinking. Desire to assist others and meet their needs. Ability to present persuasive arguments based on logic and facts.
