Legal Coordinator

Our client, a publicly traded mining company, located in downtown Vancouver, is seeking an experienced Legal Coordinator to join their dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of legal activities within a vibrant and growing organization.

Responsibilities:
Conduct research on laws, industry practices, and regulations, and summarize findings.
Provide general administrative support, including drafting, editing, and proofreading documents, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
Conduct searches using online filing systems such as BC OnLine and SEDAR
Prepare presentations, meeting materials, and disclosure documents.
Assist with policy compliance testing, training, and document preparation.
Support transaction work, including managing data rooms and contract reviews.
Maintain corporate policy databases and assist with updates.
Contribute to team projects and handle other duties as needed.

Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of administration experience in a professional services industry
Legal experience considered a strong asset
Completed post-secondary degree or diploma
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work under high pressured environment
Someone who is willing to go above and beyond
