Our client is looking for a Real Estate Clerk to join their growing team in Markham, ON. In addition to real estate experience you will speak Mandarin fluently and will contribute to the overall excellent level of service provided to clients.
Summary of Responsibilities:

Carriage of Residential Real Estate files from beginning to end
Preparation of all related documents for purchase and sale transactions, mortgage transactions, routine loan transactions and refinancing (on behalf of borrowers from both private and institutional lenders)
Standard document production in relation to larger property acquisitions, dispositions and financings
Review title searches, oversee off-title searches and draft requisition letters and responses
Deal directly with clients, financial institutions, municipalities, land registry offices and title insurance companies
Prepare record books promptly following completion of files
Produce the highest quality of work

Core Experience and Requirements:

3 years’ experience as a Residential Real Estate Law Clerk, experience with commercial files an asset
Fluent English and Mandarin
Successful completion of a related post-secondary education program in a legal assistant or law clerk program
Proficiency with MS Office, Unity, and Teraview
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to problem solve
Good judgement and decision making
Strong interpersonal skills
