What You Bring to the Team:
Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
Solid experience in assessing and treating adults with complex musculoskeletal, neurological (mTBI), and mental health conditions.
Experience in Occupational and Veterans Rehabilitation and Mental Health is a significant asset.
Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling and meet reporting deadlines.
Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
Excellent oral, written and report-writing skills.
Proficiency with computers and new technology.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
Must have own vehicle, and a valid Driver's license is required.

Your Day-to-Day:
A diverse caseload with assessment and treatment of clients - WSIB, MVA and long-term disability or with complex musculoskeletal, TBI and mental health challenges.
Flexibility to work in person and the community with the ability to structure your schedule to meet your needs and the needs of your clientele.
Creating and implementing holistic, individualized treatment plans based on critical analysis and clinical reasoning.
Educating clients on pacing, pain, cognitive behavioural strategies and task modification strategies to help improve function.
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, psychotherapists, physicians, psychologists and occupational therapists.
Supporting return-to-work programs.
Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders promptly.
Managing caseload in a fast-paced multidisciplinary work environment.
Participating in case conferences and case management.
