Required Qualifications:

  • Active registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Open to new graduates with valid licenses
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience in treating clients with physical, mental health, or neurological issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Background in occupational rehabilitation is advantageous
  • Familiarity with auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute personalized treatment plans based on clinical assessment
  • Educate clients on strategies for managing pain, cognitive behavioral techniques, and task modifications to enhance functionality.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and psychologists
  • Participate in case management and interdisciplinary meetings
  • Support clients in return-to-work initiatives
  • Utilize electronic documentation systems for treatment records and timely reporting
  • Manage a diverse caseload in a dynamic environment
