Looking for multiple Control Systems/Automation Engineers/Tech's to provide hands on support by being directly involved in the design, programming, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting of HMI. DCS, SIS and Data concentration collection in a live petrochemical plant. Executing in a safe, environmentally responsible and efficient way.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Configuration and programming of DCS/SIS/HMI process control and safety systems
Migration of legacy systems
As-building, review and comment on P&ID's, control narratives, shutdown keys, and alarm and set points documents
Prepare Functional Requirements, Detail Design Specifications, and Software Test Plans
Plan and facilitate Software Acceptance Testing (SWAT) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
Participate in commissioning and start up support
Assist in the design and modifications of new and existing process control and instrumentation systems
migration of serial communication systems from legacy to new current systems
new greenfield project work as well
Experience, education, and designations:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering Technology from a recognized engineering faculty or institute in a related field.
any recent relevant experience in programming or configuring PLC, DCS & SIS Systems
organizational and time management skills
communication skills through a variety of mediums (in person, e-mail, video, etc.)
Positive attitude is a must
self reliance
