ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Staff Housing Attendant has the essential role of creating a clean and enjoyable environment for our team members. Reporting to the Housing Manager, this requires an individual who is self-motivated, organized, and passionate about creating the best possible experience for our team members living in housing.Complete room inspections after move-outs to ensure cleanlinessComplete basic repairs and attend to maintenance requestsConduct deep cleaning tasks and project work such as painting, coordinating furniture moves, troubleshooting appliancesSnow removal and lawn careSupport the Housing Manager with capital projects and staff housing improvementsAssist the housing team with bi-monthly inspectionsClean and prepare any rooms that do not meet established standards for move insPick up debris and empty trash containersClean public areas as required (such as kitchens and bathrooms)Arrange for monthly common area clear outsMeet and greet new team members as instructed by the housing teamFollow all health and safety regulationsOther duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSAt least one year of housekeeping or maintenance experience is preferredA valid Alberta driver’s licensePositive, self-motivated, and passionate in creating the best possible team member experienceMust have strong English communication skillsGood interpersonal skills and attention to detailAble to work with minimal supervisionThe starting wage for this role is $24.00/hour.
