Position Bengali-language Expert – Independent Contractor Base pay range: $8.00/hr – $12.00/hr Location: Remote Duration: 5 weeks (with potential extension) Commitment: 10+ hours per week Start Date: Immediate About The Job This role involves reviewing, evaluating, and refining AI-generated images and videos based on Bengali prompts to ensure accuracy, relevance, and fluency. You will provide linguistic and cultural feedback to improve model understanding, identify and correct subtle linguistic and cultural nuances in AI-generated outputs, experiment with Gemini and other multimodal AI tools to test prompt effectiveness and output quality, document failure modes and inconsistencies to inform model refinement, and collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to enhance overall system behavior. Role Responsibilities Review, evaluate, and refine AI-generated images and videos based on Bengali prompts for accuracy, relevance, and fluency. Provide linguistic and cultural feedback to improve model understanding. Identify and correct subtle linguistic and cultural nuances in AI-generated outputs. Experiment with Gemini and other multimodal AI tools to test prompt effectiveness and output quality. Document failure modes and inconsistencies to inform model refinement. Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to enhance overall system behavior. Qualifications Full professional fluency in Bengali and English. Strong understanding of regional Bengali dialects, idioms, and expressions. Familiarity with Bengali and Indian cultural, social, and linguistic diversity. Up-to-date awareness of contemporary Bengali and Indian media and popular culture. Interest in AI creativity tools and curiosity about how models interpret linguistic prompts visually. Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail. Compensation & Legal Hourly contractor. Paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
