OverviewSEPHORA Greater St. John's Metropolitan Area is hiring for the Operations Lead - Full Time role at SEPHORA.Location: 48 Kenmount Road, St. John’s, NL A1B 1W3, Canada (CA)Role: Team Lead, Operations – supports all Operations related aspects of a specific Sephora store location, with direct management of the Operations team. You will regularly support staffing of operations, overnight stock, the operations leadership team and the overall execution of Sephora.ResponsibilitiesOperational Excellence. Lead the operations of the store. Ensure execution of all operations-focused processes for the store and that all are completed per company standard.Inventory Management. Manage the inventory of the store, including shipping, receiving, returning merchandise, cycle counting, and ensuring processes are completed within company guidelines and timeframes.Visual Merchandising. Manage merchandising concepts and on-stage visuals within company standards. Oversee in-house and/or third-party cleaning crews, providing feedback, coaching and escalation as necessary.Supply Management. Maintain appropriate budget and quantity of supplies, testers and samples for the store.Performance Assessment & Development. Participate in the management of all performance management situations for the operations team; ensure timely feedback for improvement and follow-up.Client Focus. Regularly act as Manager on Duty, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor where possible.Budget & Staffing. Develop budget strategies and demonstrate understanding of store sales performance, staffing and payroll, and other controllable expenses.QualificationsOne to three years’ experience in a similar role at a similar volume store or equivalent internal experience.Proven ability to influence peers and provide feedback.Strong store operations skills.Effective time management and problem-solving skills.BenefitsThe people.
