About:

As a member of the Corporate Finance team, you will be responsible for financial modelling and planning, as well as treasury activities. You will also interact with various internal departments of the organization, including the executive team, accounting, pricing, project management, the different business units, as well as points of contact in the United States and Japan.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the organization's overall strategy concerning mergers and acquisitions, as well as the development and modelling of new products and services.
  • Analyze and optimize treasury activities, including maintaining and developing business relationships with banking partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of securitization facilities and other capital markets-related activities.
  • Prepare annual budgets, optimize financial modelling for the company's various business units, and ensure budget tracking throughout the year.
  • Conduct profitability analyses for the different business sectors and provide detailed pricing recommendations to management.
  • Produce various reports and clearly communicate results and variances to management.
  • Monitor key economic indicators to optimize asset and liability management.
  • Perform any other duties related to the role and its evolution.

The profile we are looking for:

  • You have 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA or CFA designation is considered an asset.
  • You are bilingual, both spoken and written (English and French), to be able to serve internal clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong ability to ask questions, listen objectively, consider available information, and communicate clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to develop collaborative cross-functional relationships.
  • Advanced technical and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to develop a financial model in Excel.
  • Knowledge of databases.
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and finance.
  • Good understanding of the financial institution model.
  • You adopt a strategic approach and possess sharp critical thinking skills.
  • You demonstrate leadership and have a strong team spirit.
