Westview Veterinary Hospital is a well-established and fast-paced small animal practice, proud to be AAHA accredited and equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, full in-house labs, endoscopy, and surgical capabilities including orthopedics. Our team includes five veterinarians, six RVTs, and a fantastic group of support staff. Together, we’re passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care—and we make sure our RVTs play a central role in everything we do. Clinical Responsibilities for RVT Practicum Surgical prep and anesthesia monitoring Assisting in general and orthopedic surgeries Dental cleanings and dental radiographs Wound care and fluid therapy Radiology and laboratory procedures Emergency care Patient nursing and client education NVA Canada VT Practicum Program Details Real-world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment Practicums range from two to eight weeks, fitting your schedule and career goals A stipend of $750 offered to eligible students (current final-year students enrolled in an CVMA accredited VT program and completing their final practicum) On-site accommodations (inquire regarding availability) We love helping RVTs build confidence, grow their skills, and feel supported every step of the way.
