Join our team and put your talents to good use Biogenie is looking for a Sales Agronomist Representative for the Eastern Ontario region, a market with significant growth potential. Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Sales Agronomist will provide first‑rate service to existing customers, develop lasting relationships, and prospect for new customers. The successful candidate must be able to offer agronomic advice, inform and guide agricultural customers in their choices relating to fertilizing residual materials (ashes, pellets, paper biosolids, liming, etc.), compost and alternative fertilizers. Responsibilities (English) Build and maintain strong relationships with established agricultural customers and actively search for new customers to introduce a wide range of products that will improve soil fertility and health. Provide agronomic support and advice on the use of organic materials and fertilizers. Monitor agricultural activities to ensure compliance with provincial regulations and best management practices. Coordinate deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct field monitoring of crops that have received far‑reduction materials. Contribute to customer profitability and the profitability of the company’s projects. Participate in promotional activities such as trade shows, field days and raise awareness in surrounding communities. Provide regular updates on the progress of projects. Manage delivery deadlines of products and produce required documents, demonstrating progress toward objectives. Collaborate with the team to optimize operations and ensure efficient coordination of deliveries. Carry out administrative paperwork on accounts and provide necessary data to director/manager, credit department, accounts payable, etc. Perform any other related tasks. Qualifications (English) Post‑secondary diploma in agriculture or a minimum of three years in agronomy or crop input sales. Bilingualism (fluent in English and French). Strong communication and sales skills. Motivated to set and achieve ambitious goals. Knowledge of environmental standards, BMPs, 4R’s, NASM and CFIA regulations. Knowledge of fertilizing residual materials (asset). Certified crop advisor (asset). Willingness to travel and enjoy working outdoors. Interest in teamwork. Demonstrated interest in occupational health and safety. Responsabilités (Français) Bâtir un lien fort avec la clientèle agricole établie et participer à la recherche de nouveaux clients afin de leur offrir une gamme de produits améliorant la fertilité et la qualité des sols; Donner un soutien et des conseils agronomiques en lien avec l’utilisation des matières organiques et fertilisantes; Procéder au suivi des activités de valorisation agricole afin d’assurer la conformité des opérations; Coordonner les livraisons et s’assurer de la satisfaction de la clientèle; Effectuer le suivi au champ des cultures ayant reçu des MRF; Contribuer à la rentabilité des clients et la rentabilité des projets de valorisation; Participer à des activités de promotion et à la sensibilisation des communautés environnantes; Donner de la visibilité régulièrement sur l’avancement de ses dossiers; Respecter les délais impartis pour livraison des livrables. Démontrer sa progression vers l’atteinte des objectifs livrables; Collaborer avec l’équipe à l’optimisation des opérations et assurer une coordination efficace des livraisons; Effectuer les suivis administratifs de ses clients et fournir les données nécessaires à l’équipe de facturation; Toutes autres tâches connexes. Qualifications (Français) Détenir un diplôme post secondaire dans le domaine de l’agriculture ou un minimum de trois ans en agronomie ou en vente d’intrants de culture; Être bilingue (français et anglais); Avoir des habilités en communications et en vente; Être motivé par l’atteinte d’objectifs ambitieux; Connaître les normes environnementales; Connaître les matières résiduelles fertilisantes (un atout); Posséder le titre de conseiller en cultures certifié (un atout); Être disponible pour réaliser des déplacements; Avoir un intérêt pour le travail d’équipe; Démontrer un intérêt et une sensibilité envers la santé et la sécurité au travail.
