We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Microsoft Dynamics Consultant for a 1-year contract position, with possible extensions in Edmonton, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week. This role can be hybrid.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated Senior Business Analyst/Microsoft Dynamics Consultant with deep expertise in MS Dynamics 365 CRM to advance their technology infrastructure. This position collaborates closely with the Business Transformation team to ensure seamless system implementation and integration. In this role, you will take charge of reporting initiatives and data strategy formulation, leveraging Power BI to deliver impactful dashboards and data visualization that empower informed decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in CRM and ERP system integration, data migration, business process optimization, and leading data strategy and reporting initiatives, particularly in public sector environments. Responsibilities
- Perform business analysis activities to assess the current and future states.
- Coordinate the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Coordinate the development of changes in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Provide change management support associated with the Microsoft Dynamics upgrade to v9.0.
- Define technical project plans and work.
- Elicit, document and analyze business, stakeholder, and solution requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
- Create acceptance criteria, test plans and develop test cases for solution enhancements and/or during the evaluation of potential solution components.
- Maintain and enhance existing business architecture as changes to organizations, processes, business rules and systems occur.
- Design processes as required to assist in the delivery of operational support for information technology solutions.
- Design and coordinate the development of reporting and business intelligence solutions as needed to address information requirements.
- A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
- ITIL Certification is highly desired.
- Agile Scrum Master Certification is highly desired.
- Demonstrated experience with the successful implementation of 3+ Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems with customer engagement solutions, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certification OR 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 customer engagement solutions.
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in developing current and future-state business architecture models, including requirements, business processes, business rules, information models and organization models.
- 10+ years of proven experience working with enterprise-class Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software projects.
- 10+ years of expertise in data conversion from legacy systems to new systems, including the development of data conversion plans, defining conversion threshold metrics, and planning go-live transitions to operations status.
- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing process improvements across large organizations, including coordinating the decommissioning of business applications and their integrated systems.
- 10+ years of proven ability to develop project deliverables, including charters, business cases, status reports, risk logs, continuous improvement plans, project closure documentation, and test plans/test cases.
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in project management role, including managing project timelines, budgets, risk mitigation, and cross-functional team coordination to ensure success project delivery.
- 10+ years of experience leading change management initiatives and creating communication plans to support organizational transitions and adoption.
- 5+ years of experience integrating systems with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform.
- 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in developing advanced analytics, dynamic reporting solutions and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- 10+ years of proven experience delivering business analysis services to public sector clients would be an asset.
- 10+ years of experience performing business systems analysis, designing solutions and developing functional requirements for both custom-developed and off-the-shelf software applications would be an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in developing test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and alignment with business needs would be an asset.
- 5+ years of expertise in creating data migration strategies and facilitating data migration activities would be an asset.
- 10+ years of experience providing business solutions, including reporting assets such as static/dynamic reports, dashboards and pivot tables would be an asset.
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience leading and facilitating meetings, workshops, and presentations with stakeholders across various organizational levels to achieve alignment and project success would be an asset.
