MEP Operations CoordinatorResponsibilitiesOverall success of the MEP execution on the assigned projects.Execute the role of MEP Operations Coordinator by proactively predicting and mitigating risks.Assist with document control, meeting minutes, and MEP quality items.Assist with managing the MEP scopes and trade partners.Manage relationships to ensure trust and long-term relationships.Manage the document process and assist with the review and approval of MEP shop drawings.Conduct inspections of the MEP work and create reports.Inspect MEP equipment arrivals and provide reports.Manage and track MEP deficiencies.Support the project team in the preparation and validation of construction schedules and commissioning, with technical reviews of specialty shop drawings.Monitor the construction progress to ensure compliance with the schedule and identify issues that will affect project commissioning.Be on site to assist with the management of the day-to-day MEP operations and support the site staff.Ensure quality and commissioning plans from our MEP trade partners are executed.Assist with driving the commissioning process, including management of the third-party Cx agent on site.Participate in meetings as required by the MEP Operations Leads or PM.Qualifications1-3 years of mechanical and electrical experience in the construction industry.A University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a combination of education and industry experience.A proven track record of mechanical and electrical coordination and team collaboration.Ready to build your career?
