Executive Director

FULL TIME INDETERMINATE

The Southern Alberta Ethnic Association (SAEA) is searching for a dynamic leader to fill the position of Executive Director (ED). li>Reporting directly to the President and the SAEA Board of Directors, the ED will oversee day to day operations, the delivery of programs and services to the community we serve while ensuring compliance with all national and local regulations, quality assurance and alignment with the association's mission and goals.Provide support with financial management, fundraising, staff management and asset planning.Assist with building volunteer base for future success while maintaining a strong and inclusive work culture.Foster relationships with community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.Works closely with the SAEA Board to develop and implement business and strategic initiatives to enhance community outreach and meet the objectives.Manage staff members, volunteers and clients whose experiences, cultures, and languages reflect the community served by SAEA.Ensures compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety Act and security standards including employee training, facility inspection and security of the premises.Oversee all external communications, including website, marketing, newsletters, and social media.Promote SAEA by serving as the key spokesperson and liaison with local media.Two – three years of proven management experience with a not-for-profit or community organization.Strong leadership, public relations, human resources and fundraising skills with the ability to engage and involve with a wide range of stakeholders including funders, media and communities.Microsoft Office proficient – Word, Power Point, Excel, and QuickBooks, etc.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in non-for-profit management, business, human resources, finance, or related field; p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
