**Summary**

As a Courier Driver with a Class 5 license, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while safely and efficiently delivering packages. Utilizing your core skills in customer service, heavy lifting, and communication, you will ensure timely and accurate deliveries. With relevant experience in warehouse operations and commercial driving, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our delivery services. **Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a Class 5 vehicle to deliver packages to customers in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered accurately and with a friendly attitude.
- Utilize communication skills to interact with customers and address any delivery concerns.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to load and unload packages from the vehicle.
- Adhere to all safety regulations while driving and handling packages.
- Utilize warehouse experience to efficiently organize and load packages for delivery.
- Verify the accuracy of packages and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Sort packages and upload the trucks/ trailer with the packages.

**Requirement**:

- Previous courier/delivery experience is an asset, but we will consider training an otherwise suitable employee.
- Able to successfully deliver/pick up 80+ stops per day
- Comfortable navigating rural areas and driving on gravel roads in all weather conditions.
- Capable of adapting to changes, sometimes on a daily basis.
- Able to lift up to 75 LBS on their own or with minimum help
- Possess or be willing to obtain CSA approved safety footwear.
- Ability to provide 3-year drivers abstract.
- Should be able to read, understand and speak basic English
- Be punctual and consistently able to be at work on time, with references to confirm reliability.
- Be an experienced and proficient driver able to safely operate delivery vehicles from transit vans to 16' cube trucks.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines

**Qualifications**
- Class 5 driver's license in good standing
- Commercial driving experience
- Proficient in heavy lifting
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience in customer service
- Familiarity with warehouse operations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

This position is a Monday thru Friday position and generally 44 to 50 hours per week.
