OPPORTUNITY: INSIDE SALES SPECIALIST
Workplace: The position can be occupied from our Beloeil office, or remotely from Ontario, given the link with our customers
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the Inside Sales Specialist will be instrumental in fostering revenue expansion by executing proactive sales strategies and delivering outstanding customer service. Collaborating closely with the sales team, this position entails identifying and assessing leads, actively engaging with prospects, facilitating quote and bid processes, and finalizing sales transactions as required.
Summary of Internal Sales Specialist Responsibilities:
Research, identify and qualify potential prospects through various channels. Collaborate with Marketing teams and Regional Sales Managers to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns. Prepare preliminary quotations using all relevant marketing and quoting tools. With Regional Sales Managers, follow up on offers with customers, taking into account expiry dates. In collaboration with Sales Administration, ensure that all order documentation is accurate and submitted on time. Ensure that all deposit invoices are complete and sent to customers in a timely manner following receipt of purchase orders. Assist in the collection of vehicle deposits and payments, where applicable. Once orders have been reviewed and confirmed, continue to monitor and provide customers with regular updates on the status of orders and deliveries. Act as a point of contact for existing customers, responding to inquiries and providing necessary assistance to customers and Regional Sales Managers. Provide feedback to sales and marketing teams regarding customer needs, market knowledge and product improvement.
Required Skills for the Inside Sales Specialist Position:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred Experience in an inside sales position or similar function, preferably in a B2B environment. Experience in selling to municipal and government customers is essential. Experience in processing and submitting municipal tenders is required. Experience working in “made-to-order” manufacturing sectors is an asset. Experience working with customer relationship management tools, quotation configuration systems is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word). English written and spoken is essential, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Attention to detail and low error rate in work performed. Ability to manage multiple activities in parallel, prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
