Livingstone Landscaping Ltd and Livingstone Outdoor are looking for an Accounting Specialist who is passionate about accuracy, technology-driven process improvements, and financial integrity. You’ll be the backbone of our accounting operations, supporting everything from high-volume transactions and vendor relationships to payroll and financial reporting.What You'll DoAccounts Payable: Manage high-volume AP transactions with speed and accuracyAccounts Payable: Ensure compliance with Canadian tax codes (GST/HST, PST)Accounts Payable: Reconcile bank and credit card statements proactivelyAccounts Payable: Maintain vendor accounts and resolve discrepanciesAccounts Payable: Oversee purchase order workflows and payment runsAccounts ReceivableIssue client invoices and monitor incoming paymentsHandle overdue accounts and disputes with diplomacyProcess credit memos and reconcile customer accountsCollaborate with Project Managers on project billingFinancial Reporting & ComplianceAssist with financial statements and month/year-end processesPrepare for audits and ensure tax complianceManage payroll across seasonal staffing needsWhat You BringMinimum 10 years of experience in accounting (or 5+ with CPA)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationCPA designation preferred; strong experience required if not certifiedAdvanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with software integrations (CRM, ERP, project tools)Strong communication and analytical skillsValid Class 5f driver's license for occasional off-site travelFamiliarity with landscaping/project-based industries a plusWhy Join Us?
