Overview Instacart’s Brand Insights Team sits within the Commercial Organization; at the intersection of Instacart’s unparalleled industry data, our most important grocery and non‑grocery retail partnerships, and vast CPG category data. The team’s mission is to expand our understanding of e‑commerce customer trends by leveraging data and insights to support key client relationships, drive ad revenue, and enhance the overall effectiveness of Instacart’s advertising solutions. About the Role This Insight Manager will leverage data to produce actionable insight around clients’ performance on Instacart to drive category and brand conversion, build a profile of the e‑commerce consumer, increase advertising investment, and serve as a trusted advisor. Help them drive category and brand conversion Help them build a profile of the e‑commerce consumer for their brands Help Instacart’s sales team drive more advertising investment Become a ‘trusted advisor’ on how to win in e‑commerce About the Job You will support multiple clients within a category group and work with our sales and account management teams to: Identify the key business drivers for our brand partners and make actionable recommendations to grow the business Integrate consumer and customer insight to better inform targeted strategies Work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and present directly to brand teams at various levels Integrate data from a variety of sources to identify key trends and emerging solutions for the partner and customer Apply the full suite of tools and metrics including sales, share, distribution, assortment, basket analytics (cross‑shop, penetration, affinities), and customer analytics (trial/repeat, conversion, buy rate) Go beyond the data and craft compelling storylines to engage our partners About You Minimum Qualifications 3+ years analytical experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods or e‑commerce industry Strong experience with Excel and/or Google Suite, Tableau and/or Mode dashboards Basic knowledge of SQL (willingness to learn) Ability to draw conclusions from large amounts of data and summarize findings concisely Detail‑oriented with ability to produce accurate work quickly and efficiently Independent worker with self‑starter mentality; takes initiative Good project management skills Strong presentation skills Minimum Bachelor’s degree Preferred Qualifications Preference for candidates in New York City, Chicago, or Toronto areas Compensation and Benefits This role is remote. Base pay range is $104,000–$115,000 CAD (Canada). Eligible for a new hire equity grant and annual refresh grants. Please review our Flex First remote work policy.
