What You’ll Be Doing Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure completion of full cycle accounts payable processing including: receiving and verifying invoices against contracts and purchase orders, matching, coding & posting vendor invoices and processing payments. Ensure accurate reviewing, coding, and processing the vendor invoices in accounting system. Receive the vendor invoices and coordinate with various departments for invoice approvals. Ensure timely and accurate closing of Accounts Payable each month. Perform other general accounting/administrative duties in the accounting department. Respond to internal or external requests or inquiries.
What You’ll Bring to the Team Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience processing full cycle accounts payable. Accounting Diploma, Degree or equivalent is an asset. Must be able to work independently and be a team player with the ability to set priorities. Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills are required. Strong communications and interpersonal skills and a willingness to take initiative. Must have excellent customer service skills and be very detailed oriented. Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel.
