Role and Facility Information The RCH is a Level 1 Trauma centre. The Trauma Service is seeking a Trauma physician/surgeon. Daily in‑house rounding on all admitted trauma patients, responding to trauma activations and consult requests, resident/fellow teaching, and participation in Trauma Clinic/Trauma Service meetings/rounds presentations/trauma committees are some of the expectations of this position. Responsibilities Manage the trauma service for 7 consecutive days for 6 weeks in the year, dispersed throughout the year. Provide night call during trauma weeks. Additional night call expectation: minimum 2 per month during months with no trauma weeks. Resident/fellow teaching and participation in committees. Qualifications and Requirements Completed a Trauma Fellowship and ATLS certification. Active position in Emergency Medicine, a Surgical Subspecialty or Anesthesia within FHA.
