The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following :Job ResponsibilitiesManaging the plants daily operations and employeesScheduling production schedules to meet installation deadlinesUnderstanding company product lines, equipment & machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniquesEnforcing quality assurance standardsEnforcing safety standardsThe ability to interact with sales staff to review designs if requires and suggest solutions, as defined by ownerMaintaining factory equipmentProducing daily cut-lists (Done by Team) but responsible for quality of Cutlisting and making sure that the errors are caught during the production planning processForecasting production requirements and maintaining necessary inventory levelsPurchasing, tracking and receiving of all purchased materialsProblem resolution in a timely manner for matters related to servicesInstallation department is an internal customer of production department, production manager is expected to make sure that the product is ready for the installers inspection atleast 2 days before the install dateKeep the plant clean and dust freeResponsible for performance management of employees and training them to meet required quality standardsJob RequirementsPrior management and supervisory experience (3-5 years), with hiring responsibilitiesExperience in woodworking or cabinet making fields (32mm systems a plus)Experience with woodworking equipment and hand toolsExcellent problem solving skills, able to multi-task in a fast paced environmentQuality and safety consciousAbility to drive bottom line results while maintaining service orientationWell Verse with the Cutlisting softwareComputer proficiencyKnowledge of production processes and lean principles a PlusBenefitsListed pay of $60K-$75K +bonus.Paid training and ongoing professional development.Paid holidays and paid time offHealth benefits.Tools, equipment, and phone are provided.Closets by Design - OverviewClosets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems.We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry and more.Closets by Design - Our ValuesServe OthersBe a Problem SolverTrust the ProcessWe respond to all candidates within 24 hours and complete hiring in 7 days. #J-18808-Ljbffr
