Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Brampton, ON (Hybrid)

JOB SUMMARY

As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the FP&A Manager by delivering forward-looking decision support and preparing insightful analysis on various financial aspects, including sales, gross margin, cost of sales, operating expenses, and other manufacturing and distribution costing activities. You will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning and analysis, providing actionable insights, and fostering continuous improvement across the organization.Daily Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales, Operations, and Business Intelligence teams to enhance financial reporting and decision-making.
  • Lead business process efficiency reviews, taking ownership of tasks and identifying opportunities for system automation.
  • Review and manage transfer pricing for all Victaulic affiliated companies, in partnership with the Corporate Costing Department.
  • Conduct audit checks on system transactions and item costs, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
  • Analyze trends and provide insights to the regional executive team and Global Director of FP&A.
  • Partner with Operations to manage cycle and physical inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations teams to implement inventory reduction initiatives.
Annual Responsibilities
  • Assist with external audit preparations, providing schedules as required by the audit firm.
  • Support the year-end standard cost roll-up and inventory revaluation process.
  • Update documentation related to procedures and controls around inventory, costing, and FP&A processes.
  • Participate in the preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budgets, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, and capital planning.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CMA) or advanced degree (MBA) is preferred.
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to quality and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and process complex data to generate actionable insights.
  • Proven track record of succeeding in performance-driven cultures, adapting to shifting priorities, and embracing new challenges.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, with expert-level skills in Excel.
  • Experience with Corporate Performance Management tools (Onestream, HFM) and Business Intelligence tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI) is required.
