Clinical Research Coordinator (Research Institute) Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada Position: Temporary, part‑time (3 days / 21 hours per week) Position Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator will support investigator‑initiated and multi‑centre clinical research projects within the Thrombosis Research Program, part of the Cardiovascular Health Across the Lifespan research theme at the RI‑MUHC. Reporting to the Principal Investigator and the Research Manager, the coordinator will coordinate all aspects of assigned studies, including participant recruitment, informed consent, data collection, and regulatory documentation. Responsibilities Coordinate all stages of clinical research projects, including ethics submissions, protocol implementation, and regulatory documentation. Recruit, screen, and obtain informed consent from study participants in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and institutional guidelines. Conduct participant interviews, complete case report forms (CRFs), and ensure timely and accurate data entry into databases (e.g., REDCap). Review medical charts and extract relevant clinical data for study purposes. Schedule and conduct participant follow‑ups, ensuring proper documentation of visits and adverse events. Collaborate with investigators, clinicians, and other research team members to ensure protocol compliance and study quality. Participate in data verification, monitoring visits, and preparation for audits or inspections. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Education & Experience • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) • 2–3 years of experience in a clinical research or hospital‑based studies setting. Required Skills Excellent French and English, spoken and written. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Ability to work independently (with minimal supervision) as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information. Good analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to evolving study needs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic data capture systems such as REDCap. Familiarity with research ethics, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and institutional research policies. Previous experience in clinical research or hospital‑based studies is a strong asset. Additional Information • Status: Temporary, part‑time (3 days / 21 hours per week) • Pay Scale: $24.40 – $45.29 per hour, commensurate with education and experience. • Work Shift: Variable Schedule • Work Site: GLEN Site, 1001 boul. Decarie, Montreal, QC. Benefits 6 days of paid sick leave per year, including up to 3 personal days. Vacation calculated on a pro‑rata basis based on a percentage of your salary.
