Our approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. https://www.strengthinharmony.ca/ Role Description We are looking for an associate to specialize in working with youth and young adult clients (approx. age 16‑25). There is a growing need at Strength In Harmony to serve these clients and their families. The ideal associate will have specialized experience in working with youth and young adults, with a therapeutic approach that includes building a circle of care around the family of the individual. This is a part‑time, hybrid role located in Toronto, ON for an Associate Psychotherapist. The Associate Psychotherapist will be responsible for conducting individual and potentially group therapy sessions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing counseling for various mental health concerns. This role involves maintaining accurate client records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and participating in ongoing training and supervision. Qualifications Psychology and Mental Health skills Counseling and Relationship Counseling skills Medicine skills related to mental health care Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Understanding of various therapeutic approaches and interventions Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field Relevant certifications and licensure to practice in Ontario Registered Psychotherapist (RP or RP‑Q) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a psychotherapy/counselling setting. Demonstrated expertise in working with youth and young adults. Demonstrated understanding of how to apply principles of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) to your personalized approach with clients. Experience working with men’s mental health and related challenges is an asset. Ability to provide both in-person and virtual therapy sessions. Professional liability insurance.
