We provide psychotherapy primarily to individuals in the LGBTQ2IA+ community. As a virtual clinic, we value the use of technology to provide secure, effective, and accessible services to the clients we serve. Our approach is integrative, with elements of cognitive‑behavioural therapy, schema therapy, attachment‑based therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, mindfulness‑based interventions, and trauma‑informed therapy. To find out more, visit our website: mantrapsychotherapy.ca About the Role As an associate psychotherapist, you will be added to our team and provided with access to an electronic health records system (Jane App), 60+ exclusive handouts and worksheets, professional/peer consultations, a flexible schedule and autonomy over your working hours, and an organized and supportive virtual working environment. The clinic will promote your profile at Mantra Psychotherapy, and clients will be referred to you. Please note that if you require clinical supervision, this is not provided at our clinic. Qualifications Minimum of a master’s degree or equivalent in counselling, psychotherapy, or social work. Registration with a psychotherapy regulatory body (CRPO or OCSWSSW) Current and valid professional liability insurance. Education, experience, and/or training in LGBTQ2IA+ related issues, as they relate to mental health and social stressors. Preferred Experience/Assets Experience using the Jane App as a service provider Knowledge of telehealth security standards regarding the handling of PHI Knowledge/experience providing psychotherapy to individuals in the LGBTQ2IA+ community, specifically gay and trans individuals, immigrants and refugees, and BIPOC. Knowledge/experience working with LGBTQ2IA+ sexual orientations and gender identities Knowledge/experience with various modalities/interventions such as cognitive‑behavioural therapy, attachment‑based therapy, solution‑focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, mindfulness‑based interventions, and trauma‑informed therapy. Experience providing psychotherapy to individuals with trauma. Experience providing couples therapy.
