Toronto, Canada NeuroInclusive Full time

About Neuroinclusive

Neuroinclusive is an autistic-founded, queer-led nonprofit committed to providing accessible, affirming diagnostic and therapeutic services for neurodivergent people in Ontario. We are currently pursuing charitable status and focus on a neurodiversity-affirming model of care that **centers lived experience and rejects pathologizing narratives**.

Founded by Hope (a nonbinary, neurodivergent psychotherapist and psychometrist, trained as a clinical psychologist in Spain and Italy) and Tarver (an autistic mindfulness counselor), our mission is to expand access to **dignified, collaborative, and affordable assessments** for children, teens, and adults.

Although we currently do not have a licensed psychologist on staff, we are now ready to expand our team to include one. This is a pivotal role that will shape the future of our diagnostic services for youth (8+) and teenagers.

The Role

We are seeking an **Associate Psychologist in Autonomous Practice registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario** who is **authorized to diagnose without supervision** and wants to make a real difference.

This position is ideal for someone who:

- Is excited to **collaborate with experienced psychometrists and psychotherapists**, even though they cannot diagnose independently
- Believes in **team-based, person-centered care**:

- Wants to **keep client costs low** by sharing diagnostic responsibilities
- Is comfortable offering **only portions of a diagnostic process** (e.g., feedback, cognitive testing, supervision of team members)
- Has interest in **developmental therapies**, **Positive Behavioural Support (PBS)**, and **non-ABA alternatives such as DIR/Floorplay, LEGO Therapy, SCERTS, TEACCH,** to name just a few.
- Would like the option of providing therapy to children in addition to assessment work (optional)

What We Offer
- **$200-$250 per billable client hour** (your full rate — we take no cut)
- **Ample administrative support by trained staff and volunteers**:

- **Office space in Toronto and in St Thomas, Ontario** for in-person assessments
- **Remote flexibility** for intakes and feedback sessions
- Freedom to set your own schedule, within office space availability
- A growing, mission-driven, **neurodivergent-led team** committed to equity, collaboration, and transparency

We only charge clients a flat organizational fee to cover administrative costs and use fundraising to offer **sliding scale and fellowships**. This allows practitioners to offer accessible services while being paid competitively.

Who You Are
- A **Psychological Associate in Autonomous Practice, registered** with the **College of Psychologists of Ontario**:

- Skilled in working with **autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental conditions or willing to learn.**:

- Experienced in administering or reviewing **Wechsler and other cognitive/learning assessments, and owns the kits.**:

- Comfortable working as part of a **collaborative, multidisciplinary team**:

- A believer in **anti-oppressive, neurodiversity-affirming care**:

- Interested in innovative models that **bridge the gap** between OHIP-covered and private services
- Bonus if you can also provide therapy (not required)

To apply, please send a brief introduction sharing your experience and interest in the role. We’re happy to meet you where you're at.
