Insight is currently seeking Sonographers to join our dynamic and expanding team. We offer a range of scheduling options—including full-time, part-time, and casual positions—to suit your lifestyle and career goals. Positions are available at one of our 15 designated sites, or you can opt for float or rotating roles if you prefer a dynamic and varied work environment. Insight offers: Recruitment Bonus Paid Vacation and Flex Days RRSP Matching Duties and Responsibilities Prepares and performs a variety of standardized and/or complex procedures as set forth by the Radiologists. Must have working knowledge of all US equipment and ensure all units are functioning correctly. Responsible for maintaining safety and the general care and cleanliness of the Ultrasound area, with particular attention to infection control. Instructs patients on examination requested. Maintains quality control in performance of all procedures. Assist Radiologist or fellow staff members. Responsible for general patient care and safety. Skills Possess working knowledge of all ultrasound equipment and ensure all units are functioning correctly. Handledifficultsituationsinasensitiveandproactivemanner. Abilitytoworkinafast-pacedenvironment. Qualifications Graduate from accredited Sonography program. Credentialed in General Sonography and/or Echocardiography is required. Credentialed with Sonography Canada is preferred. Maintenance of continuing education credits as per Sonography Canada. CPR Standard First aid certificate is an asset.
