Position Overview

As Moxion’s Corporate Counsel you will provide legal advice and support related to corporate governance, business operations, transactions, contracts, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and experience working with companies undergoing high growth. p>What you’ll do:

  • Support on a broad range of corporate matters, including governance initiatives, strategic transactions, securities compliance, and other corporate matters.
  • Support a broad range of corporate governance matters, including drafting and implementing policies, Board engagement, and advising on all things related to Moxion’s governance structure.
  • Support and lead on entity management, equity compensation, and other corporate-related matters related to Moxion’s domestic expansion efforts.
  • Lead on and develop processes for scaling legal support for general corporate matters, including securities law compliance, subsidiary management, and equity matters.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on other aspects of the company's operations, including employment law, intellectual property and occasionally real estate matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and business development, to ensure legal compliance and risk management in all areas of the business including Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
    • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school including a license or qualification to practice in California.
    • Experience at fast-paced technology company and/or technology-focused law firm (bonus if you have experience in the Clean Tech or Renewable Energy industry).
    • Knowledge of venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and deal structuring. li>
    • Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands.
