Old Toronto, Canada PocketHealth Full time
p>What if you could personally impact the future of healthcare? As part of the PocketHealth team, you will enable hospitals and clinics across North America — and more importantly, empower over a million patients — to discover a better healthcare experience.

PocketHealth is a patient-centric platform that enables hospitals and clinics across North America to share imaging records digitally with patients, instantly and securely. Through our platform, we enable patients to be active and engaged participants in their own care, and take control of their care journey. PocketHealth is a unified image management solution for over 600 hospitals and clinics across North America. We believe that by placing patients at the center of the record release process, data moves more ethically, easily and securely throughout the care journey, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to help make this vision a reality for millions more patients across North America.

As a Senior Product Manager on our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our users to understand their needs, translate that into product vision, and collaborate cross-functionally to launch new features that will enable thousands of hospitals and clinics — and empower millions of patients — to discover a better healthcare experience.

We are looking for a curious and hands-on Senior Product Manager to own the product roadmap for a set of products within our Provider or B2B product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have or be willing to build deep industry expertise, appreciate the differences between the buyer and user personas and how this may affect requirements and prioritization, and be comfortable managing clients and stakeholders with competing priorities.

You’ll be joining a growing team of Product Managers who are eager to learn, collaborate, and elevate our product development processes. You’ll also collaborate closely with our Engineers, Designers, Marketers, Sales and Customer Success team members to deliver high quality product features and improvements.

As a Senior Product Manager at PocketHealth you will:
  • Develop a deep understanding of PocketHealth’s product offering and grow into an expert for the product area that you own
  • Lead and oversee ideation, planning, development, and launch of new product features within one of our core product teams
  • Collaborate with product marketing to define value propositions, compile research, and finalize pricing based on established product objectives, costs, and value proposition
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, sales, customer success and other product engineering teams to determine prioritization, ongoing cost of delivery and marketing position to be used to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to build industry leading products
  • Communicate ideas, progress, and results to stakeholders internally and externally to ensure awareness and understanding of product decisions and direction
  • Define, analyze, and own metrics that inform new features that get built and represent the performance of features in the app
  • Ensure a structured, repeatable process is followed for conducting market research to include industry publications, competitive research, user interviews and stakeholder feedback
  • Make and own critical decisions about prioritization and ensure the team is always working on the most important thing
  • Adjust and build upon existing processes within your product team to optimize delivery based on the product, customer, and team members
  • Support the growth and scaling of the PocketHealth platform as it grows to match the needs of our engineers and customers
About You
  • 5+ years of experience in a product management role, either in a rapidly growing startup or at a major enterprise technology company
  • You are experienced in leading product development, shipping successful SaaS features to users, and scaling them up, and you can prove it
  • You have strong technical knowledge, are able to make effective trade-offs in a technical context, and have a track record of bringing extremely technically complex products to market
  • You have experience with the US healthcare market and the needs of both medical service providers and patients in the United States
  • You have a strong desire to learn and understand the problem space and potential opportunities for improving our provider customer’s workflows
  • You can balance team capacity across building new features, tackling technical debt, and optimizing what already exists and are comfortable providing your team with absolute clarity on priorities
  • You operate with an extreme sense of accountability and are willing to flex into different roles to support your team which could include testing, vendor evaluation, writing copy, or other tasks required to optimize the success of your product area
  • You are data driven and use quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions and measure success
  • You have experience working with internal platform and tooling teams

You can do amazing things at PocketHealth. You can positively impact the healthcare journey for millions of people, while building your career and developing your skills. It has been a part of our mission since our founding to empower patients & make healthcare accessible to all, and we know this can only be achieved with a team of diverse perspectives that is representative of the Patient & Provider communities we serve.

If there are ways we can support you through the recruitment process with an accommodation, please let us know by reaching out to DEI@pocket.
