Why represent 99.3 CountyFM? The only radio station that exclusively focuses on serving the needs of Prince Edward County residents, businesses, and not for profits in our community. Our volunteer driven, community radio station strives to reflect and contribute to the richness, diversity, public safety and economic vitality of Prince Edward County.As an essential service we provide 24/7 news, entertainment, programming, and emergency messaging. The station has a small core staff to assist you in your sales role as well as 107 volunteers. You help small business achieve their goals and represent a collective of creative, fun loving, caring people.If you love sales and client service and have at least 15 hours a week that you can consistently apply to the process, then come join our teamEnjoy a flexible, active sales position, with realistic objectives, rewarding commission, and support from a dedicated team.Highlights:Develop and manage marketing campaigns for clients that integrate radio, event marketing, and digital.Provide on-going customer support to ensure optimal service levels at all times.Create new campaigns and find opportunities for growing client accounts.Develop new business and creative sales strategies.Work with the GM to develop and review realistic sales expectations.Manage accounts receivables for your accounts, supported by the admin team.Requirements:Media Sales experience is an asset and/or sales of any service perceived as “intangible”.Education in sales and marketing preferred; entrepreneurial background welcomed.Ability to prioritize and work with a high level of initiative, autonomy and self-motivation.Strong written and verbal communication & presentation skills.Cooperation, being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.Ability to think conceptually, creatively in an effort to resolve problems and develop unique solutions.A good knowledge of The County’s history and current workings overall is beneficial.A valid driver’s license and reliable fully insured automobile is required.The station has a strict policy of inclusion and respectful treatment of all staff and volunteers.
