Position Summary We’re looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Territory Manager to represent Stella‑Jones across Home Depot locations in the Greater Vancouver area. This is an exciting, field‑based and highly autonomous role for a self‑motivated, high‑energy professional who thrives working independently. You’ll manage your own schedule and territory, build strong relationships, solve problems, and ensure top‑tier service. You’ll travel throughout your assigned territory, supported by a company vehicle and cell phone, representing the trusted Canadian brand of pressure‑treated lumber. Key Responsibilities Visit and service Home Depot stores weekly within the Greater Vancouver region. Maintain consistent communication with Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and Department Associates to support strong relationships and effective collaboration. Ensure stores are fully stocked and visually merchandised according to Stella‑Jones and Home Depot standards. Monitor inventory levels, identify replenishment needs, and follow up on logistics and deliveries. Lead product knowledge training sessions and presentations for store associates and local contractors. Support the Pro‑Desk by promoting Stella‑Jones programs and fostering strong relationships with contractors. Conduct site visits, assist with warranty claims, and participate in Home Depot events and product demos. Maintain professional, well‑organized displays, signage, and promotional materials at all times. Track store performance using Excel, preparing simple charts and reports to share updates and insights. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sales, merchandizing, account management, or retail operations preferred. Proven ability to work independently and autonomously in a field‑based role with minimal direct supervision. Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, particularly in planning store visits and service routes. Comfortable taking initiative and proactively reaching out for support or collaboration when needed. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience within the building materials or lumber industry considered an asset. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
