As a junior Applications Engineer in our Engineered Pumps team, you will play a key role in our growth in the municipal, industrial, and commercial markets. You will listen to our customers’ needs and apply your knowledge, engineering skills, and resourcefulness to develop the optimal pump equipment and system solutions. The job is challenging but rewarding, with constant opportunities to learn and to use new products and knowledge in fluid dynamics, hydraulic principles, and control systems. We provide full training and support to ensure success in the role.You will be primarily working in our new northwest Cambridge facility.Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, assisting them in selecting the most suitable pump solutions for their applications.Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Summit Water’s product line, staying updated on the latest technological advancements in pumping systems.Application Analysis: Collaborate with sales teams to analyze customer requirements and applications, offering customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations.Training: Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external customers on Summit Water’s product offerings, applications, and best practices.Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, application guides, and troubleshooting manuals.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Proven experience in technical support or application engineering, preferably in the pump industry
