We're seeking a Senior Director of Partnerships to lead our strategic partnerships function and drive explosive growth through the ecommerce ecosystem. What You'll Do Drive the Partnerships Strategy and Revenue OutcomesDevelop and execute strategies to identify, engage, and activate high‑value ecommerce partners that generate a sustainable pipeline of financing leads. Own the definition and clear communication of the Partnerships model strategy, aligning stakeholders and guiding execution to maximize partner‑driven revenue. Expand Clearco's Brand & Market PresenceLead initiatives to amplify Clearco's visibility across the U.S. and ecommerce ecosystems. Represent Clearco at key industry events, conferences, and networks to deepen relationships and establish thought leadership. Forge Strategic & Affiliate PartnershipsIdentify and cultivate high-impact partnerships with ecommerce platforms, SaaS providers, agencies, aggregators, and other ecosystem players. Develop an extensive network of affiliate partners who can promote Clearco to their customer base and audiences. Own Partner P&L & Commercial DisciplineBuild and manage partner-level P&Ls. Define targets, CAC payback thresholds, contribution margin goals, and guardrails for offers, rev-share, and bounties. Partner with Finance to forecast and reconcile performance monthly. Deal Structure, Pricing, and IncentivesDesign tiered, partner-specific structures that balance volume and quality. Calibrate rev‑share, bounty, and SPIFFs by partner economics. Create approval matrices and deal‑desk rules to avoid ad‑hoc “just pay more” motions. Partner‑Specific PackagingAdapt Clearco offerings and messaging to the partner’s ICP, funnel, and motion. Build playbooks by partner type (platforms, SaaS, agencies, aggregators) and continuously A/B test incentives and value props. Corporate and Strategic IntegrationsPursue larger, multi‑year partnerships that include co‑development or integrations of Clearco technology, data exchange, and embedded workflows. Navigate procurement, legal, and security reviews; structure SLAs and mutual business plans. Collaborate Cross‑FunctionallyWork closely with sales, marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless strategy execution and optimization of partnership opportunities. Act as the voice of partnerships across the organization. Monitor Market Intelligence & Competitive LandscapeStay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities. Use insights to inform strategy and maintain Clearco's competitive edge in the fintech and ecommerce space. Own Performance & AccountabilityDefine and track key performance indicators to measure partnership effectiveness and impact on business growth. Take full ownership of Clearco's growth through partnership channels and deliver results. What You Bring Experience & Expertise 10+ years in partnerships, business development, or corporate development within fintech, ecommerce, or adjacent B2B ecosystems. Demonstrated ownership of a partner or channel P&L, including budgeting, pricing, forecasting, and unit economics by channel/partner. Hands‑on experience designing and negotiating partner‑specific commercial structures: tiered rev‑share, bounties, SPIFFs, MDF, and performance accelerators. Track record building structured, multi‑year corporate partnerships that include technical integrations, data exchange, and embedded workflows; comfortable navigating procurement, InfoSec, and legal reviews. Track record of consistently achieving targets including closed sales and pipeline contribution. Deep understanding of financial products for ecommerce and consumer brands; able to adapt packaging and incentives to different partner motions (platforms, SaaS, agencies, aggregators). Strong cross‑functional partnership with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, and RevOps to set targets, run QBRs, and reconcile performance monthly. Skills & Attributes Strategic thinker with strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to influence executives.
