Throughout your career with us, you’ll continue to achieve your goals and work with a supportive team to go the extra mile for your patients.We are seeking an occupational therapist to join our team in delivering collaborative, relationship-based occupational therapy services in the community. As a self-starter with integrity and accountability, the successful candidate would have the opportunity to develop a holistic occupational therapy practice with mentorship and support from our leadership team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide occupational therapy services to people who have sustained mental health, physical, or brain injuries.Meet clients where they are at, in their homes, workplaces, communities, or virtually.Form relationships built with trust, seek to understand factors and facilitators relating to a client access to, initiation of, and sustained occupational participation.Collaborate with clients, employers, funders, and health care team members in designing and delivering tailored occupational therapy services to promote return to work, reintroduction of everyday occupations, and well-being.Connect with team members and team leaders to innovate and improve the quality of the healthcare services we provide.RequirementsYou are a graduate of a recognized School of Occupational TherapyYou are a registered member in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)Have experience in the private sector and working within the communityExperience with Mental Health diagnoses, brain and spinal cord injuriesHold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with a willingness to travel to rural site(s)You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional developmentNew Graduates are welcome to applyWhat We OfferThe opportunity to build your business as an Independent Contractor with referrals from our teamCompetitive compensationExcellent administrative support, so you can focus on your clientsFlexible hours, which allow work-life balance and focus on quality of lifeCBI Health is committed to providing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where everyone feels safe and accepted as their authentic selves.
