Job Description:

The Emergency Medical Technician-PCP is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons.

Education Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) Licenses Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C) Valid Class 4 driver's license International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) Registered Paramedic (2011 National Occupational Competency Profile standards) Other Education and Training Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS) Competencies Basic - Interpersonal skills Basic - Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work and communicate in a cross cultural setting Other Information Clean Driver's Abstract Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement Eston is located approximately 171 km northwest of Swift Current For more information on the town of Eston please visit https://www.eston.ca/ Standard Hours Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call
