Job Description:

The EMT-PCP will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT-PCP will cover standby assignment as operations require.

Education Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) Licenses Registered Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic (EMT/PCP) Valid Class 4 driver's license International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) Other Education and Training Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP) Competencies Basic - Interpersonal skills Basic - Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge in diverse cultures, values and traditions Other Information Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement Standard Hours Kindersley is located approximately 200 km west of Saskatoon Clean Driver's Abstract For more information on the town of Kindersley please visit https://www.kindersley.ca/
