This involves the use of internal and external communication along with the analysis of financial data to devise a recommendation that maintains the flow of Yamaha inventory purchases and protects the interest of YMFCA from a risk perspective.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct full assessments of new dealer prospect files which includes pre and post review communication with dealers, financial analysis and subsequent credit line and security documentation recommendations. Provide financial input to YMCA on prospects if pre-screening is required.Complete annual dealer file reviews based on priorities established by the Credit Manager. Communicate with dealers or their Accountants for any financial clarity, and the YMFCA Account Managers for Operational input. Complete analysis, propose credit line and security documentation renewals/amendments and notify dealers of results upon approval.Review and assess significant changes to existing dealerships and determine security and documentation requirements (e.g. share buyouts, ownership restructuring, release of collateral).Complete Interim file reviews associated with seasonal increase requests, rush orders, product line additions, interim financial statement reviews and high risk file monitoring.Participate in training & development programs that will enhance underwriting knowledge.Experience RequirementsDegree/Diploma: Bachelors Degree/DiplomaProgram of Study: Business or Economics preferredYears of Experience: 2-3 years preferredType of Experience: Credit UnderwritingSkills And AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word)Bilingual in English and FrenchTime Management and strong organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skillsYamaha Motor Canada Ltd. welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
