We are seeking a Manager of International Marketing to join our Marketing team on a contract basis for parental leave coverage (until end of October 2025). This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by building brand awareness and supporting Seneca’s international marketing and recruitment efforts.

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing - Brand, you will be responsible for participating in marketing activities for international markets, implementing multi-channel plans, designing campaigns targeting international students both domestically and abroad, supporting events, and working collaboratively across the organization to help attract and retain international students. You will focus on being a brand steward both within the organization and externally to build brand strength, increasing regional and country-specific enrolment and enhancing the enrolment funnel. You will provide leadership and mentorship to two Marketing Specialists.

Here's What’s on Your Horizon

Strategic Planning and Implementation

  • Lead the development of an international marketing strategy, identify short-term and long-term priorities and implement strategies that support regional priorities and unique market dynamics.
  • Consult with senior leadership, conduct competitive scans, and monitor post-secondary marketing initiatives across markets.
  • Focus on institutional and enrollment priorities, diversification strategies, regional preferences, international partnerships, applicant archetypes, and new market opportunities.
  • Monitor external environment and IRCC policy changes to develop proactive and responsive marketing strategies to support the seamless applicant journey of international students.

Brand Management

  • Create compelling campaigns and collateral to strengthen Seneca's brand and image in priority markets.
  • Lead campaigns impacting students, influencers, agents, and stakeholders, participate in international marketing initiatives, develop marketing assets, campaigns, content, and social media campaigns.
  • Leverage institutional brand strategy to improve Seneca's image and position in the international marketplace and represent Seneca on internal and external committees.

Project Leadership and Marketing Program Management

  • Oversee international marketing initiatives, develop marketing assets, and manage strategic campaigns.
  • Deliver projects on time and budget, keeping stakeholders informed.

Enrolment and Conversion

  • Identify and support growth opportunities in the enrolment funnel, gather market intelligence to inform marketing strategies, develop marketing strategies for direct and agent audiences, and support enrolment priorities for specific markets and programming.
  • Drive interest pre-application, applications, confirmation, paid conversions, and bundling programs.

Team and Resource Management

  • Establish objectives and work plans, delegating assignments to subordinate employees and developing policies and procedures to improve operational efficiencies.

Ensure effective recruitment, selection, training, motivation, and evaluation of staff.

If you hold a degree or equivalent credential in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, and have 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Brand Marketing, or a related field—along with exposure to the international post-secondary sector—we encourage you to apply.
