Founded in 2017, Coalition combines comprehensive insurance coverage and innovative cybersecurity tools to help businesses manage and mitigate potential cyberattacks.Opportunities to make an impact with bold thinking are real—and happening daily at Coalition.About the roleIn this role, you will help Coalition manage its relationships with insurance and reinsurance capacity partners across all insurance products, including delegated authority relationships and reinsurance relationships for our balance sheet vehicles. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations with these partners, including overseeing data sharing, audits, compliance with contractual obligations, and internal product development geared towards assisting carrier partners.Accordingly, we seek a highly talented individual with deep insurance and reinsurance experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Candidates should be able to operate with minimal oversight to drive execution across our capacity strategy.ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations with Coalition’s insurance and reinsurance carrier partnersEnsure seamless communication and data sharing with external carrier partnersManage annual audits with all carrier partners, and project manage implementation of any audit recommendations internallyReview contract wording with carrier partners, and ensure compliance with carrier contracts and guidelinesDirect internal product development needs to support carrier partners betterEffectively collaborate and communicate carrier-driven needs and requirements with cross-functional teams (underwriting, claims, operations, product, engineering, etc.)Skills and QualificationsOperational experience at an insurance carrier or MGA, or experience managing capacity relationships and operations at a reinsurance brokerExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and operational needs with partners and internal teamsStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsSelf-directed and self-motivated; excellent communicator and collaborator100% medical, dental, and vision coverageFlexible PTOAnnual home office stipend and WeWork accessMental & physical health wellness programs like Headspace, Lumino, and moreCompetitive compensation and opportunity for advancementWhy Coalition?Work at Coalition is centered on the joint mission to Protect the Unprotected.
