About The Role In this role, you will help Coalition manage its relationships with insurance and reinsurance capacity partners across all insurance products, including delegated authority relationships and reinsurance relationships for our balance sheet vehicles. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations with these partners, including overseeing data sharing, audits, compliance with contractual obligations, and internal product development geared towards assisting carrier partners. Accordingly, we seek a highly talented individual with deep insurance and reinsurance experience who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. Candidates should be able to operate with minimal oversight to drive execution across our capacity strategy. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations with Coalition’s insurance and reinsurance carrier partners. Ensure seamless communication and data sharing with external carrier partners. Manage annual audits with all carrier partners, and project manage implementation of any audit recommendations internally. Review contract wording with carrier partners, and ensure compliance with carrier contracts and guidelines. Direct internal product development needs to support carrier partners better. Effectively collaborate and communicate carrier-driven needs and requirements with cross‑functional teams (underwriting, claims, operations, product, engineering, etc.). Skills and Qualifications Operational experience at an insurance carrier or MGA, or experience managing capacity relationships and operations at a reinsurance broker. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and operational needs with partners and internal teams.
