About the Company;A reputable organization in the real-estate sector is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join its collaborative finance team. This role offers a supportive, growth-minded environment and exposure to both property-level and corporate accounting functions.About the Role:Reporting to a senior finance leader, the Accounting Clerk will assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general support across the month-end process. The position is ideal for an early-career accounting professional, someone eager to learn, ask questions, and grow within a dynamic and down-to-earth team.What You’ll Do:Enter and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and reclass entries.Prepare new vendor packages and ensure tax compliance.Retrieve and reconcile daily bank activity.Assist with billing, tenant communications, and year-end billing cycles.Support expense reporting and related month-end tasks.Collaborate with the accounting team on ad-hoc financial projects.What You Bring:Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (coop experience counts).0–3 years of AP and/or AR experience – either discipline is acceptable.Exposure to the real-estate or property-management industry is an asset.Familiarity with Yardi software preferred (or similar ERP experience).Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and open communication style.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.Why Join:This is a great opportunity to build your accounting career in a hybrid environment (3 days in office) alongside a supportive manager and controller who value curiosity and collaboration.
