We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team in Regina location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing our enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT initiatives. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our technology landscape through standardization and drive innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with IT leadership to establish a development roadmap that supports IT's vision.
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, standards, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into architectural requirements.
  • Drive standardization of the application portfolio to enhance efficiency and reduce redundancy.
  • Create frameworks and standards for all interfaces, data services, and application software development.
  • Design secure interfaces to various cloud providers.
  • Define specifications and requirements for new projects as needed.
  • Utilize critical thinking to break down complex processes and provide actionable solutions.
  • Communicate technical procedures clearly to senior management.
  • Produce comprehensive reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and integration opportunities.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of technology solutions that support business objectives.
  • Ensure architecture compliance with industry standards, security policies, and best practices.
  • Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance to project teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business and technical teams.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior technical staff.
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in a large IT environment.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an Enterprise Architect.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise-level systems, including applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft development tools and databases.
  • Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms is a plus.
