Product Manager (AI & Full-Stack Product Development) – Clariti Join our mission to provide governments with exceptional experiences, empowering them to deliver citizen services that truly matter. What we do We empower governments to deliver exceptional citizen experiences. Check out our About Us page to learn more about our product and what makes us exceptional. How you’ll help us make an impact We’re looking for a Product Manager who’s deeply technical and passionate about civic innovation. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of our AI‑powered permitting tools – collaborating with engineering, design, and city partners to define what gets built, why it matters, and how it delivers real value. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the roadmap for CivCheck’s AI-driven features and modules. Translate complex customer pain points into clear, prioritized product requirements and user stories. Work with engineers and designers to conceptualize and prototype product solutions that simplify complex user workflows – from data collection through user experience. Create wireframes and low‑/high‑fidelity mockups to communicate ideas clearly and iterate fast. Establish measurable success metrics across usability, accuracy, and process efficiency. Partner with city stakeholders to deeply understand their permitting workflows and ensure products meet functional and policy goals. Translate real‑world permitting and plan review challenges into usable, elegant digital tools. Collaborate with engineering to validate technical feasibility, including model integration and user experience implications. Conduct competitive and user research to shape positioning, differentiation, and product direction. Balance immediate customer needs with long‑term scalability and technical feasibility. What you bring to the team 2–3 years of product management or product ownership experience. 1–3 years of real, hands‑on coding experience from professional work or academic projects. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to understand and contribute to technical discussions and prototypes. Demonstrated experience (academic or professional) training AI/ML models from scratch, including defining architectures, curating datasets, and tuning hyperparameters. Working knowledge of computer vision algorithms and their practical applications. Experience designing wireframes or interactive mockups (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq) to communicate product requirements. Strong understanding of AI model evaluation, performance metrics, and deployment considerations. Proven track record collaborating cross‑functionally with engineering, design, and customer teams. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize technical concepts into clear product direction. Experience working in Agile or fast‑moving startup environments with competing priorities. Deep curiosity about how AI can responsibly and meaningfully improve public services. Bonus Points Experience shipping or managing AI‑driven products in high‑impact or regulated environments. Familiarity with Python and machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn). Background in civic tech, construction, permitting, or infrastructure systems. Experience defining and launching internal platforms or tools that accelerate AI or data workflows. Contributions to open‑source projects or applied AI research. Compensation & Benefits The base salary range for this role is expected to be between $110,000 – $140,000, based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications while considering internal pay equity and our broader pay philosophy. Benefits depend on employment type (full‑time, part‑time, contract, etc). We invest in and empower our team members with competitive compensation packages, well deserved time off and benefits to keep you and your family healthy. Additional Information Background checks: We require all successful candidates to undergo comprehensive background checks before joining our team, focusing on global sanctions and criminal offences relevant to employment at Clariti.
