Role Kira Talent is looking for a Product Manager to help support the Engineering (Development), Product, Sales, and Client Success teams. You will play a vital role in ensuring clients are wowed by our product’s experience. Key responsibilities include: product feature identification, backlog management, prospect and customer-facing support for new products and features, platform technical support and troubleshooting, product evaluation and testing, and system configuration activities. As a Product Manager, you’ll report to Kira’s head of product and work collaboratively with virtually every department in the company. Your key responsibility will be to support our sales, client success, and software development teams as the voice of the customer. Additionally, you will be instrumental in coordinating, collecting, and providing client-centric feedback on all products, solving problems, assisting the development team to identify and stamp out issues, and testing solutions and new product features. You will be responsible for ensuring projects, systems, processes, and technology initiatives stay organized and on track. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of client-facing interactions, excellent facility with web-based technologies (webhooks, API’s etc), excellent project management skills, strong technical troubleshooting skills, as well as a working knowledge of the software development life cycle. What Excites You Enable and enhance both the development team’s and the client success team’s efficiency and effectiveness Schedule, coordinate, and lead interviews with clients and prospects to identify product enhancements, capabilities, and features Contribute to prioritization of bugs and new features in concert with Engineering, Client Success, Sales, and other product team members. Work closely with the client success and engineering teams as an advocate for our clients across the organization. Ownership of product quality with support and participation in end-to-end QA and platform testing Lead other project management initiatives at the company upon request. What Excites Us 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing product role with web-based applications, including: ideation, development, testing, deployment, and go-to-market activities for new features. Prior experience working with SaaS development teams. Strong organizational skills in process management - must be adept at managing multiple projects and balancing competing deadlines. Exacting attention to detail and a passion for perfection. Knowledge of software development lifecycle and the ability to create and track tickets, bugs, and user stories from inception to completion. Strong client-facing skills. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Excellent at creating and delivering compelling and clear presentations for training internal teams and external clients. Experience using and managing technology and development services tools, environments, and systems (ex., Salesforce, Jira, Github, Trello, Figma, etc.). Must reside and be eligible to work in Canada. Nice to Haves 3-5 years of experience working in technology development, technical support, or testing. Past work experience within a college or university or admissions. Past experience successfully launching a commercially viable SaaS product. Some knowledge of databases, SQL, and the ability to create and run scripts.
